The fingerprinting livescan device company Identification International, Inc. (i3) wanted to refresh their brand, build a new website, and push their latest innovations — a new proprietary 3D fingerprinting technique and enhanced scanning tech for their next-generation devices.
Their brand was already strong — the monochromatic palette with a pop of green communicated well to their audience and looked great. The brand just needed some consistency, a solid visual language, and a new direction with their photography.
As a major part of i3's rebrand, they also needed new photography. I directed several photoshoots showing i3's products in ecommerce-ready studio photos and action shots.
After establishing the look, we got to work creating a microsite all about i3's push into 3D. We used real fingerprint scans from i3’s devices to create a slick, punchy video depicting the company’s leap into 3D — and we set it up for use in multiple areas, including tradeshows, the website, social media, and presentations.
We gave the website a modern, responsive coat of paint using the new brand to create an industrial, futuristic look that matched their company mission. We populated the site with all-new content on product descriptions, information, and data to marketing messaging matching the new strategy from our team.
We also created new videos to showcase each product, giving information on how each device is set apart from the competition — along with specifications, instructions on device usage, and general features. I performed most of the videography for these videos throughout the site.
From new photos and videos to the new 3D illustrations, every piece came together to help visually cement i3 as a powerhouse in the fingerprinting device space.
